There are different kinds of strategies for players to win at blackjack and one of the most
commonly used and suggested ones, is for a player to keep track of the blackjack cards by
counting them.
However, there are other blackjack tips for players to follow that are more mental than
calculative. Typically, players should learn what to do when confronted by certain types of
blackjack hands. For instance, when a player is given a hand of 12 and is facing a dealer who has
a hand of either 2 or 3 – a player is often confused as to what to do. Some people believe that a
dealer with a 2 or 3 in the hand will make them to not have a chance of winning and cause them
to bust. When a dealer has a 2-6 hand, then there is a good potential for him to bust. Players will
be facing odds of 35% to 42% of seeing the dealer go bust.
Players are encouraged to make a stand for their cards if they value to ten or more. This is
a simple and basic tip that every blackjack player will stand by. However, players who are
counting cards and those who are holding a hand of twelve can opt to hit if they are facing a
dealer with just a 2 or 3 showing.
